Thank you for helping us celebrate the successful partnership between Mary Baldwin College and the Heifetz International Music Institute

As Mary Baldwin College and the Heifetz International Music Institute approach two milestones: Mary Baldwin's upcoming 175th anniversary and the Heifetz Institute's 20th anniversary; they are raising funds for a renovation of the James D. Francis Auditorium, site of dozens of concerts, lectures, convocations, and classes each year on Mary Baldwin's main campus.

The first phase of the project, to be completed in time for the first Heifetz concert of the summer 2016 season in early July, includes installing new seats and efficient modern lighting, replacing the carpet, and repainting the walls. A second phase would include enhancements to the performance area at the front of the auditorium.

The Institute and College are working through the Community Foundation of Central Blue Ridge to raise $200,000 from donors with a special affinity for the arts. Contributors of $150-1,500 to the Take Your Seat fundraising campaign will be recognized with their names on the seats in the auditorium. Please review a more detailed SEATING CHART for more information.

After you complete your contribution the staff of the Heifetz International Music Institute will contact you to discuss your seat selection(s) and your desired seat inscriptions. If you wish to write a check, please mail your contribution, payable to "Community Foundation: Take Your Seat", to the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge. P.O. Box 815, Staunton, VA 24402-0815.

All contributions, regardless of amount, will be inscribed on a special "Wall of Fame" plaque at the entrance to Francis Auditorium to recognize each member of the community's efforts to the refurbishment of the hall.
