The African-American Heritage & Multicultural Festival had an outstanding revival after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Festival will continue in 2024, featuring a variety of foods, arts and crafts, musicians, entertainers, and activities that showcase the diverse cultures found in our region!

This event is possible thanks to generous corporate sponsorships and individual contributions. The Festival has set a fundraising goal of $25,000 for the two-day event, scheduled for September 21 and 22, 2024, at the Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand. Donations will help the Festival provide entertainment, vendors, supplies and materials and deliver an enriching cultural experience for our community.

Their partnership with Staunton City Schools and Waynesboro Public Schools will continue as the school divisions co-sponsor the festival to share and celebrate customs from students and families of various cultural backgrounds in their schools.

All donations made to the Community Foundation for the support of the Festival are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Thank you for your generous support!
