Fostering Futures and Celebrating the Lives of John Kiger and Alan Obaugh
Friends of the late John Kiger (1955-2016) and Alan Obaugh (1959-2024) have established the Kiger-Obaugh Scholarship to honor these two exceptional individuals and to support Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County youth who will be pursuing their college aspirations at Virginia Tech. The Kiger-Obaugh Scholarship will be held and administered by the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge, which accepts contributions of all forms, including:
