Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro marks its centennial by building the region’s first accessible nature-themed playground.
The Kiwanis Club of Waynesboro is celebrating its 100 Year Anniversary by installing an accessible nature-themed playground along the South River Greenway. The Club is seeking support from the community to help bring this dream to life.
This inclusive nature playground is thoughtfully designed to enhance outdoor recreational activities, promote environmental education, and strengthen community ties for children of all abilities. The playground will feature an accessible surface- the first of its kind in the Staunton, Augusta County, Waynesboro region- so children and family members are able to access equipment and play together in a safe, fun environment.
